If you have huge mailing list, I'd advice to with your VPS. VPSes starts from $20.00 or so. But get 256 /512 RAM memory minimum.

Any cpanel hosting, you can setup email piping very easy.

Email sending capability is certainly less with shared hosting. So if you have huge list, shared hosting is not your option.

Oh...OK. On your VPS based on your memory, you can send to a big lists too.

Sure. Thats possible. But the drwaback o this method is you don't get subscribers ip (as in form subscription). As you know ip is one of legit proof that he subscribed to your list.

No need to double opt-in. But getresponse has the ability to export the subscribers list based on the number of message they received?

i really had a hard time installing that software inspite of your tutorials, but i have done 90%,

iam trying that on hostgator alc(shared hosting alc)

do i need to ask the vps admin to install it, they will say i got to do it, since i got full control

any idea how to install it, iam using cpanel no plesk is there

I advice you to install and test it on Linux. On Windows, we didn't test our software.

2 days have wasted,

after installation, it works well for 4-5 taks then, all of sudden it stops to execute "task list"

it happend many a times, i thought there must be something wrong in the installation, so i installed it again and again, but after 4-5 emails it doesnt email at all

email piping is still working, but not the execution of task list

i executed "responder.php" manually many times, but the task list was never getting executed, can u tell me whats wrong

i have given chmod 777 to all the folders and files, is it becoz of that ?

i have uploaded the arppro.zip file and then unziped it in arppro folder using "SSH" client

i tried it 2 days but nothing seems to work correctly, pls check whats wrong

Check your database settings in database.cong file. It was simply saying the script is not able to connect to mysql host.

Still problem, submit a helpdesk ticket with login info, I will check it.

And you don't have to chmod all files and folders to 777. It is not adviced.
